What Our Patients are Saying ...
I have fibromyalgia, neuropathy, restless legs, and ibs. I had been taking opiates 3 times a day for 5 years. I had both day and night time pills made for me at the Canna Kitchen. I started having a big problem with nausea and was run through every test to see if I had ulcers, etc. It was suggested that I was allergic to the marijuana. So, I quit taking the pills for 3 weeks and saw no improvement in the nausea. I talked to my doctor and we discussed the possibility of the morphine being the culprit. I thought, why not quit using it and see what happens. It took several months to wean off the morphine safely but I am now "opiate free". Oh yes - no nausea. The pills relieve the pain as good as, if not better, than the morphine. It relieves my restless legs and neuropathy and for the first time in years (taking sleeping pills every night that I also quit taking) I sleep peacefully through the night. I can't express how happy I am to be off most of the prescription drugs and still get the same level of pain relief. I no longer worry about my liver and kidneys being damaged. I no longer have any of the side effects that I had from the rx. I use the night time ones during the day occasionally for break through pain and it helps better than the break through medication I was taking before. Thank you Rhea and Kendra for giving us a safe, clean, friendly place to get smokeless marijuana made. It is wonderful to have ladies who truly care and have educated themselves about healing with marijuana to speak out for all of us who don't or can't and to make product for those of us who don't or can't. I encourage anyone living with chronic pain to seriously consider trying it. Just give it two hours one time and you will wish you had tried it long ago. I take my pills on a schedule so I don't have to play catch up but if I get behind I just vap and get instant relief that lasts until the pills work again. All that relief with no chemicals. Go figure!
As a retired police officer I was skeptical about using medical marijuana; but I was undergoing chemotherapy to treat cancer and the side effects were terrible. After some prodding from my wife I decided to try the medical marijuana. Within a short time the capsules alleviated the majority of my symptoms. I was no longer nauseous, dizzy, aching in the bones, or coughing. I was able to stop using a cane to go to the store.
One of the best things was that I was able to eliminate my other medications, such as codeine, that were disrupting my system and are known to be very hard on the liver. My wife and I both felt very good about me using something natural and effective.
Rhea and Kendra, at the Canna Kitchen, made the whole process easy and non-threatening. They believe in what they do and are not out to take your last dime.
“An alternative usage of cannabis ointment. I am a practitioner of Qi Qong for many years. I found by applying the salve to key chakra points prior to practicing Qi Qong I was able to breathe in the medication through these energy points. A very relaxing and energizing process began to occur when I practiced Qi Qong in this manner. I would highly suggest Qi Qong training to help eliminate pain with daily practice. One such exercise, Lei Chi, can help bring healing energy into the body and then help remove toxic energy that is stuck. This moving of energy is very profound for me. I find it helps relieve mental anxiety from long term chronic pain. This usage of healing salves along with Kung Fu training is nothing new. My close friend and master of Chung Mu Do Kung Fu system came all the way out from Pennsylvania to train me in the use of traditional Chinese ointments along with Qi Qong practice.
I realized I could do the same using Rhea's salves and tinctures. The results are very promising.

I had facial laser resurfacing because of skin cancer, and used the burn oil from Albany's Canna Kitchen to up in the healing process. I can honestly say that the oil helped with the pain and speeded up the healing process. Today, my face looks clear, smooth, and scar free. I recently also, had the opportunity to treat a burn caused by boiling water, and again, was happy with the results. Donna
Excellent, gentle, effective pain relief. I use mostly daytime capsules. I have lumbar osteoarthritis and have quit opiates and soma (while using these capsules).
I was having a migraine headache and
I could feel that the muscles in my neck and back were very tight. The pain of the headache was causing me to tense my muscles which was
making my headache worse. Luckily I had some of your canna oil capsules, so I took two and an hour later my back and my neck started relaxing
and the pain from my headache was much more tolerable. I’m so glad I had those available! Thank you Rhea!!!
Wife says yes. We, for the sake of science, gave it a try and all I can say is thanks!

Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of the m-Scale study. I met with Troy yesterday and I am very excited to be a part of his project. I agree with him that we need more data from patients
to get a real view on the efficacy of this medicine and why we have
chosen it over other medications. That kind of data is much more
compelling to legislators than a bunch of stoners protesting in front
of a courthouse. I am very happy there is someone doing this work and
especially someone with as much integrity as Troy. Thanks for finding
him and letting us in on his project.
My name is Whitney, I'm 28 years old and live in Eugene, Oregon. Since the age of 15 I have been diagnosed with chronic migraines. All the doctors that I have seen, and all the tests I went through to try to fix my head... I was given all types of medication to try out, from anti-depressants to pain pills and muscle relaxers. High milligrams of ibuprofen, Tylenol or Aleve, to blood pressure medicine and blood thinners.
By the time I was 23, I started researching alternative methods to get out from under all pills that doctors had prescribed me. Most of my research brought me to herbalism, which then led me to Medical Cannabis, and how to get my card. After achieving my goal, I fell in love with Albany's Canna Kitchen & Research, LLC. There are two ladies there that make the environment really great. They help you go through and understand the process, so you can get the best results from your product.
The first time I tried their products I burst into tears. Within minutes the pressure and sensitivity to light had faded, and for the fist time in a long time I felt normal.
I would like to take this time to say, "thank you" to the ladies at Albany's Canna Kitchen & Research, LLC, for their help and hard work to bring people like myself back to feeling human again. In my opinion, we need to support the ones who decide to go an alternative route for their health and well being. We also need to support the ones that stick their necks out to educate others about this alternative method. I would like to thank you for reading my story.

I was delighted to find Albany’s Canna Kitchen & Research, LLC. Rhea is most eager to assist and provides excellent information and help concerning finding solutions for pain management. I've had chronic pain for over 33 years due to an industrial accident sustained when I was 18 years of age. I've been through many doctor's offices and alternative therapies over the years in an attempt to find relief and ideally healing to my compound head, neck and back injuries. Until 1 year ago I used traditional pain meds with varied amount of relief and a lot of side effects. Surgeons had little hope to offer the multiple neck and back injuries.
My doctor at the time suggested I try hemp for pain management. Like many who are mainly conservative I was not willing to go that route. 3 years ago the pain began to be intolerable and I decided to begin the process of obtaining an OMMP card. Many of the doctors in Corvallis agreed that hemp may offer a system for pain management but would not agree to help me. My present primary doctor agreed to give me a letter indicating I was a candidate for this kind of pain management. After obtaining the clearance to apply for OMMP card I followed through and now have the legal right to use hemp for severe pain management.
I do not like to smoke so I decided to try ointments and tinctures along with vaporizing to titrate the cannabis. The tinctures were effective but some of the oils infused with cannabis were not well received by my stomach. I found coconut oil infused ointments and honey tinctures work very well for pain and no problem for my stomach. Vaporizing is sometimes irritating to my lungs but does a very good job of getting the canibinoids into my system. I found I am more active and have less pain. Still at times the pain is very bad.
I'm thankful though that with the help of Rhea I was able to try solutions that worked better than pharmaceutical medications with a lot less side effects. I would highly recommend anyone who is seeking help who has an OMMP card to contact Albany’s Canna Kitchen & Research, LLC.
